Day 1: Decided on a Experiment For our Psychology fair! Cant wait to get started!
Day 2: We chose the McGurk Effect, a perceptual phenomenon that shows how what you see can effect what you hear. We're working on Finding different experiments like ours to see the different outcomes and ways to do this experiment.
Day3: Today We are finishing up Student Hand out 13. We have found 3 different experiments related to ours that help display the McGurk Effect. Tomorrow we will begin to work on the other hand outs and Getting together the materials for our experiment! We found that it is almost impossible to "beat" the experiment!
03/16/16- Today we finished doing our hand outs and started to work on putting together our booth and deciding how we are going to carry out testing all the students.
03/17/16: today we finished up all the hand outs. we now have all the information sorted out we need to put this project together. This weekend we will begin putting together our videos and out booth and get ready for the Psych Fair

03/23/16- Today is our final day to get work done for our experiment. We have got all the materials we need for the Psych Fair and are so excited to test it on 1,600 students. Tonight is the test run on our parents!

ReplyDeleteOh, I hate this effect when subtitles or visual cues don't match up, this experiment is definitely going to get me.
