March 8th:
Our experiment is blindfolded touching. It is pretty self explanatory and it should be fun to see peoples reactions!
March 9th:
Today we finished student handout 11 and 12. We also figured out more about our topic.
March 10th:
We decided to change our topic to something that involves "fight or flight."
March 11th:
Today we worked hard to find an experiment that fits our topic and right now we have multiple to choose from.
March 14th:
We have finished student handouts 13 through 16 and are currently working on 17.
March 15th:
Today we finished student handouts 17 through 19. We also planned out how our whole experiment will work.
March 16th:
We are pretty much done with all the handouts. We still need to get our poster board and plan out how our experiment will work better.
March 17th:
Today, we found videos to go with our experiment. For our experiment, we will show our subjects scary videos and record their reactions. We want to see if they will either fight back or jump back. We also plan on scaring them in other ways to record more reactions.
March 18th:
Today we planned out how our poster will look.
March 21st:
We did not get our poster board yet but we drew a quick sketch of what our poster will look like and what kind of info it will have on it.
March 22nd:
We finished our poster and have our experiment planned out. We are looking forward to testing it and watching people´s reactions.
March 23rd:
We are all prepared for the fair!
March 24th:
Our experiment worked out better than we thought. We had different types of reactions for each student. Some were very funny and some didn't have much of a reaction but it was still fun to participate in the fair.
Please expand more on your topic we would like more information.
ReplyDeleteHow will you be measuring a fight response versus a flight?
ReplyDeletei have done a similar experiment and i freaked out. I cant wait to see what other peoples reactions are, but I would also like to know more about the fight verse flight
DeleteThis is SICK! Not super descriptive but perhaps that adds into the suspense...!? It seems like a lot of 'hard' work went into this and I'm sure it'll be great! Good luck! :~)
ReplyDeleteyour experiment sounds like it will be hilarious and fun to watch and do.I don't get how someone would have a 'fight back reaction' from a video, but i will definitely check it out.
ReplyDeleteAre you prepared for the consequences if someone chooses the fight option?
ReplyDeletealways ready to square up
DeleteThis sounds like a funny one. I would love to see this
ReplyDeleteInteresting idea, I think I've tried this experiment a long time ago but it would be cool to try it again. Good luck at the fair!
ReplyDeletecool idea cant wait to try it and see other people freak out a little
ReplyDeleteI wonder if adding other "scary" aspects would contribute to more people choosing flight, such as darkness.
ReplyDeleteNot much information but it sounds like a cool experiment
ReplyDeleteAwesome idea man. I'm looking forward to seeing it at the fair
ReplyDeleteThis is a very interesting experiment and it would be cool to see how people react.
ReplyDeleteInterested in the "Flight or fight" test, but I am slightly confused by what the experiment entails.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see more of how this is going to be executed
ReplyDeleteHow are you going to measure whether someone will fight or flight?
ReplyDeleteThe "Flight or fight" test seems really cool, but I am slightly confused on how the experiment will run and how you'll measure the responses.
